The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has issued a notice dated 21 September 2026 about the examination city and Admission Certificate for candidates of the Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2026 (Tier-I).

The Tier-I schedule was announced in the Commission’s notice dated 12 September 2026. Candidates can now log in on ssc.gov.in to see which city they have been allotted, which matters for anyone who needs to arrange travel or a flight from the islands.
Admission Certificate
The Admission Certificate will be available for download roughly two to three days before your own examination date, through the same login module on the SSC website. Because Tier-I runs across a full month, your admit card will not appear at the same time as everyone else’s — it depends on the date you have been allotted. Detailed instructions are in the Commission’s notice published on 21 May 2026.
Candidates Using the ‘Own Scribe’ Facility — Act by 24 September
If you have opted for the Own Scribe facility, there are changes you must act on:
- Scribe registrations made before 5 November 2025 have been disposed of. A fresh Scribe registration on the Commission’s website may be required.
- Scribe registration is now integrated with Aadhaar authentication. Anyone willing to appear as a scribe must complete fresh registration on the SSC website.
- You must submit and map your scribe’s registration number so that the Scribe’s Entry Pass can be generated.
- Deadline to map the Scribe OTR: 24 September 2026, 11:00 PM. The Scribe Entry Pass will be generated only for candidates who successfully map their Scribe OTR.
- The maximum permissible age limit for a person appearing as own scribe follows the updated policy (Policy No. PP001/14/2024-PP, e-10280, dated 4 November 2025). The rest of the scribe guidelines remain as in the notice for the respective examination.
If you use a scribe and miss that mapping deadline, no entry pass is generated for your scribe — so it is worth checking tonight rather than on exam day.
