Graduate Level Common Section Full Mock – 20 Questions, 24 Minutes

20 questions in 24 minutes — the General Intelligence and General Awareness section that every Andaman graduate level post carries, at the official pace and marking.

Each question is worth 2 marks in the real paper, with 0.25 deducted for a wrong answer. These 20 questions are 40 of the 200 marks. The other 160 come from the technical subject of your post — Civil Engineering, Electrical, Food Science and so on — and you must prepare that from your own syllabus.

General Instructions

  1. The clock is set at the server. The countdown timer at the top of the screen shows the time remaining. When it reaches zero the test ends by itself — you do not have to submit.
  2. The Question Palette shows the status of every question using these symbols:
    • You have not visited the question yet.
    • You have not answered the question.
    • You have answered the question.
    • You have NOT answered, but have marked it for review.
    • You have answered and also marked it for review.
Marking a question for review only means you want to look at it again. An answered question that is marked for review is still counted in the evaluation.
  3. To answer a question: choose one of the four options, then press Save & Next. To change an answer, select a different option and save again. To remove it, press Clear.
  4. Your answer is saved only when you press Save & Next or Mark for Review & Next. If you jump to another question from the palette without saving, the answer to the question you were on is not kept. This is how the real exam behaves.
  5. Sections appear on the bar above the question. You may move between sections at any time, and after the last question of a section you are taken to the first question of the next one.
  6. Only questions that are saved, or marked for review after answering, are evaluated.
