The Department of Environment and Forests, Andaman & Nicobar Administration, has published the list of provisionally eligible candidates for the Group ‘C’ (Industrial) posts of Mazdoor and other Group ‘C’ non-ministerial posts (Raftman, Grader, Asst. Sawyer, Beltman, Oiler, Timber Recorder, Tallyman, Grinder) to be filled in South Andaman District.
Background
The posts were advertised in The Daily Telegram on 16 March 2026, with online applications taken from 16 March to 29 April 2026. A committee has scrutinised the applications and prepared the lists of provisionally eligible and not-eligible candidates. Both are uploaded on the recruitment portal of the A&N Administration (erecruitment.andamannicobar.gov.in).
What the List Shows
The PDF is a long candidate-wise list. Each row gives a serial number, registration number, candidate name, father’s name, gender, category (General, OBC and so on) and the status “Eligible”. Search by your registration number. The ineligible candidates are in a separate list on this site.
If Your Name Is Not Here
Check the Not Eligible list and read the remark against your name. If you think it is wrong, send your claim or objection with proper documents by email to dfosa.recruitment@gmail.com within 3 days, from 26 October to 28 October 2026. Claims received after the window, or without proof, will not be entertained.
Important
The department states that the eligible list is purely provisional. Final eligibility is decided only after the original documents are verified, and a name in the list does not give any right to selection or appointment. The mode of selection for these posts is a physical test, as revised in the department’s corrigendum.
