UPSC centenary

Green corridor
The Cabinet approved Green Energy Corridor Phase-III, costing Rs 1.86 lakh crore, to carry 135 GW of renewable power, with central support of Rs 54,082 crore.
GOBARdhan
Petroleum Minister Hardeep Singh Puri launched the revamped GOBARdhan scheme on 1 October, with Rs 23,731 crore over ten years to raise compressed biogas output nearly tenfold.
Biogas is mainly methane.
