How It Works
- The owner appoints a person who meets the eligibility conditions and submits a compliance report.
- The Assistant Divisional Officer checks the credentials and arranges the three-day training.
- The Deputy Director issues the enrolment certificate (Form N).
If no Fire Safety Officer is appointed, the Assistant Divisional Officer may recommend cancelling the building’s Fire Safety Certificate after giving the owner a hearing.
The Fire Service Training Centre also runs courses for Fire Safety Officers (Rule 23), and the draft does not state fees for them.
