After a complaint or inspection, the Assistant Divisional Officer issues a show-cause notice within 48 hours of approval. The owner has 15 days to respond. If the problems are not fixed, the Deputy Director can cancel the certificate, and at once where there is an imminent threat. The owner must then reapply.
