Important: Vacancies Were Revised
The press release dated 19 June 2026 revised the number of vacancies from the figures published in the original April notice. If you are checking how many posts are available in a particular wing or category, take the figures from that revision notice and not from the original press release. The same notice also extended the application deadline, which had already been extended three times before it.
How to Download Your PM&ET Admit Card
- Go to the A&N e-recruitment portal at erecruitment.andamannicobar.gov.in.
- Click Candidate Corner or Admit Card in the top menu.
- Log in with the registration number and password you created when applying.
- Download and print your admit card.
- Read the corrigendum notice dated 29 July 2026 alongside it, as it carries changes to the original instructions.

About the PM&ET
The Physical Measurement and Endurance Test is conducted by the Andaman & Nicobar Police at different centres across the islands. As stated in the recruitment notice, the PM&ET is only qualifying in nature — it decides whether you continue in the process, but the marks do not count towards your final merit position. Your rank is determined by the written examination and, where applicable, the trade test.
